- Kuranda
Scenic Train & Skyrail - A leisurely start to a leisurely
day. Travel by scenic rail up to Kuranda, the village in the rainforest.
Wander through the markets (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday),
visit the Butterfly Sanctuary, Birdworld and Koala gardens or
stroll along the river bank. The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway return
to Cairns will take your breath away as you travel at treetop
levelpast the Barron Falls and Gorge. The Tjapukai Aboriginal
Cultural park and dancers can also be included in this tour as
an optional extra.
- Great
Barrier Reef Cruise - .Travel with Big Cat Cruises for either
a full day (5 hours) or a half day (2 hours) on Green Island.
Your package includes a coral viewing tour aboard a glass bottom
boat or snorkeling equipment. Do both for a small additional charge.
Other optional extras
• Semi Submersible Tour – get a fish eyes view of
the reef from underneath the waves.
• Buffet lunch on board includes cold meats, chicken, salads,
tea and coffee.
- Highlands
Waterfalls & Paronella Park - This is a spectacular scenic
Tablelands tour. The high level elevation rainforests of the Atherton
and Evelyn Tablelands are vastly different to the coastal forests.
Enjoy a Devonshire tea before cruising around Lake Barrine and
admiring the magnificent 1100 year old twin Kauri pines and the
old growth rainforest. The giant Curtain Fig tree is another marvel
of nature while the Millaa Millaa, Zillie and Ellinjaa waterfalls
are uniquely different and individual. Enjoy a 2 course country
style lunch at Mungalli falls before marveling at Jose Paranella’s
ingenuity and creativity to build a dream in the wilderness.

Sights Discovery Tour - Discover the rich history of our
beautiful city and the spectacular tropical vegetation in our
parks and gardens. Take in the panoramic views from the best hillside
lookouts. On most days you can see out to Green Island and the
Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a ‘Devonshire’ tea/coffee
before embarking on a fascinating and spectacular guided walk
through the Flecker Botanical Gardens. Explore the Royal Flying
Doctor Service visitor centre and visit the unique Outback Opal
Mine. This tour is one of those “gems” you will be
glad you discovered.
- Food Trails Tour - The Food Trails tour experience lets you explore the flavours
of Australia’s tropics as you visit farms and go to out
of the way places rarely visited by other companies. Taste tropical
fruit wines made from mango, mulberry, lychee and passionfruit.
Visit a macadamia plantation, coffee plantation and try 100% natural
ice cream. Hand feed wild wallabies at Granite gorge. This is
a tour to indulge in the tastes of the tropics as well as seeing
spectacular scenery.
- Cape Tribulation: Travel north along the Captain Cook Highway to the end of the bitumen at Cape Tribulation. You’ll marvel at the undisturbed and magnificent World Heritage listed rainforests and breathtaking views from the Aerial Walkway & Canopy Tower. Hear some of the aboriginal legends and experience a wildlife spotting cruise on the Daintree river.
