• Friday - Travel by coach through the beautiful Cairns Highlands then into the North Queensland Outback. Enjoy a buffet lunch before joining your Savannah Guide for a 2 hour tour of the fascinating Undara Lava Tubes. Afternoon coach return journey to Cairns. Overnight in restored railway carriage accommodation. After dinner enjoy evening campfire activity.
  


• Saturday - Bush breakfast at the ringers camp then depart for Mt Surprise for Savannahlander train to Cairns.
  
• Sunday - rest day
  


• Monday - Travel the rugged terrain of the coastal route renowned as one of the most spectacular scenic locations in Australia. Crossing the Daintree river by ferry, travel through World Heritage listed Daintree National Park and Cape Tribulation. The 4WD only Bloomfield track provides incredible images of this unique area. Lunch at the famous Lions Den Hotel (Est. 1875), visit the mysterious Black Mountains. Tour of Grassy Hill. Enjoy up to 2 hours exploring this historical coastal township before returning on the inland road. The Mulligan Highway, which offers fantastic views of the outback of North Queensland. Overnight accommodation Pam’s Place Motel.
